For canvas products, carefully spot clean the area with soap and water. If the stain still isn't budging try a diluted bleach solution. For Steeletex (vinyl-coated nylon) spray with Simple Green (or degreaser) and wipe clean. For wooden products, regularly wipe clean with a dry cloth to prevent moisture build up and longevity of life.

All of our products are made to order in our Massachusetts facility. Our standard lead time is 5-10 business days for most products. You will receive confirmation via email once your order enters our system and once your order has shipped from our facility. Domestic shipments typically ship via FedEx or UPS Ground and occasionally USPS. International shipment methods vary - please contact us for a quote. Return Policy
We hope this never happens, but in the event you're unhappy with one of our products, we will issue a refund to the card used at purchase (minus the cost of shipping) as long as the product is returned in new condition within 30 days of arriving at your destination. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping fees. If you pay for the "free return coverage" when you place your order, your return shipping fee will be covered. Nice and well-made but uncomfortable
"This chair is very well made and quite stylish, but I feel like some of the angles of the frame could use adjusting; particularly the lower arms that you hook the canvas over. As it is, if I sit in it like a normal chair, they dig into my legs. And if I lean back at an angle with one leg over the side and one over the front, I have the same issue. No matter how I reposition myself, I inevitably end up with my legs resting against the hard steel frame instead of being suspended between the forks and cradled in the canvas more like a hammock."

Well worth the wait
"Made-to-order and ground transport from MA to WA (me) add maybe a week, but these chairs are heirloom quality AND utilitarian. Idiot-proof (me again) . Save the black tubular packing material to cover select parts of the frame; w/o armrests they’re great for seated guitar - black packing material (@ ~50 cm) behind my arms (see pic) protect the guitar bout from damage. Three to start, maybe more later."

"Was my expectation met? Yes. Was the packing sufficient? More than that, the care they put into it was quite impressive. Came it in time? Yes. Are the details of the butterfly chair good, and well executed? Everything is very pleasing, given my background as an Architect and Artist. Is the color as shown on the site? I used a calibrated monitor, and it was a very good match. Was the laundry bag (triangle) easy to assemble? Yes, although I ordered a few Acorn Nuts heads for the top of the wheel bolds to make them look nicer and provide a smoother surface against the bag. It's perhaps unnecessary, but that follows my idea of adding my touch. Am I happy with what I got and how it was delivered? Yes. Will I order more as proof of my review? Yes. Do I love all the care and offerings? Yes. Especially the feel of getting quality and the option to order different colors for the Butterfly chair. Enjoy your order."

- hi, your featuring this item with a child. is this more of a dorm size option? I get that it’s made an order, but the price is a bit high if it’s more sized for kids. thanks for your response.
- Hi JW, Apologies for the confusion. This is adult size pictured. The child size chairs are called pint-sized. We'll get an adult in one at our next photoshoot. Best, SCB
- What is the weight limit on these? Is the cover removal?
- Hi Sai, The cover is removable, so you can have a variety of sling colors for the same frame. As for a weight limit to be honest, we've never had our chairs tested for a maximum weight capacity, though the frames are 1/2" cold rolled steel, so I don't think they would collapse anytime soon. That said, my family has been using our chairs since I was a kid, and we come in all different shapes and sizes. From my picky eating niece (50ish lbs.) to my cousin with a healthy appetite (260+ lbs.). I know it's not scientific, but I hope this helps. Best, SCB

- Hi Rebecca, The chairs are amazing on a porch or deck but we would recommend storing them indoors when there is inclement weather. Water can damage the natural cotton canvas.
