For over 100 years, Steele Canvas has been producing baskets and trucks for a variety of industries across the country and around the World.  In the sports industry, both professional and collegiate teams use our baskets on the sidelines or in the locker rooms to collect laundry or store and carry equipment.

This past season, Steele Canvas had the unique opportunity to build a basket for the Red Sox players that could be used for celebrations after home runs were hit at Fenway Park. Our industrial 6 BU permanent style truck was outfitted with navy Steeletex, foam padding under the rim, and the Red Sox logo on both ends.

As the Red Sox advanced their way into the playoffs, two local Boston news stations stopped by the Basket Shop to learn a little more about how the basket was built.

The first segment aired on 7 News, WHDH Boston on October 13th.
