"I liked the laundry basket but it did come dirty on both sides. I reached out and an employee was very nice but basically said it happens sometimes and maybe an eraser can help. Not really happy with the response as I did buy a NEW and not cheap product."

For canvas products, carefully spot clean the area with soap and water. If the stain still isn't budging try a diluted bleach solution. For Steeletex (vinyl-coated nylon) spray with Simple Green (or degreaser) and wipe clean. For wooden products, regularly wipe clean with a dry cloth to prevent moisture build up and longevity of life.

All of our products are made to order in our Massachusetts facility. Our standard lead time is 5-10 business days for most products. You will receive confirmation via email once your order enters our system and once your order has shipped from our facility. Domestic shipments typically ship via FedEx or UPS Ground and occasionally USPS. International shipment methods vary - please contact us for a quote. Return Policy
We hope this never happens, but in the event you're unhappy with one of our products, we will issue a refund to the card used at purchase (minus the cost of shipping) as long as the product is returned in new condition within 30 days of arriving at your destination. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping fees. If you pay for the "free return coverage" when you place your order, your return shipping fee will be covered. "I’ve been planning this purchase for a while with plans to use the elevated truck with wooden lid and shelf for two purposes in our guest cottage: As a place to store extra pillows and to serve as a luggage stand. Each component is high quality. The frame is sturdy. The canvas is nicely stitched. The vegetable tanned leather will age nicely. My only post purchase observations: 1) When purchasing the wooden lid I didn’t think about how the handles might be in the way. We’ll see how big a deal this is as we use it. 2) I upgraded to the 3 inch casters. Not a huge deal, but the only wish I have is that the casters could be locked. This is my first purchase from Steele but it won’t be the last. I wouldn’t typically describe a laundry basket as heirloom quality but that it is."

- What is the difference between 2 and 3 casters?
- Hi Jennifer, The difference is in inches! 4 wheels come on each truck but the size of the wheel can be 2 inches or 3 inches. The 2 inch are our standard and hold about 75lbs each. If you'll be rolling your product over multiple different floor textures including carpet, we might suggest the 3" for an easier roll. Hope this helps!
- What are the *interior* dimensions for both 1 and 2 dividers? I'd like to know how much it will hold as opposed to my current laundry sorters. Thanks!!
- Hi Verena, The overall depth of this product (meaning just the canvas portion) is 20.5 inches. So to find your overall dimensions for each compartment you would take the length and width and divide it by 2 sections or 3 sections along with this depth.
