Too small for the basket

"This liner doesn’t really fit, but I’ve managed to make it work with several tweeks. First, the vinyl material isn’t rigid enough, and it constantly collapses. I managed to improve it by turning it inside out. Having the seams on the inside gives it a little more structure, though still not enough. It’s also too small. The 4 bushel size needs about two inches added to all sides: length, width, and height. In order to raise the height, I placed a few layers of corrugated cardboard in the bottom of my basket, under the liner. Finally, in order to keep the liner open, I used four extra large binder clips near the corners. It still leaves a gap between the liner and basket on two ends, but at least it prevents the flopping. Hope this helps!"

Necessary for a house with small children!

A good liner that just needs additional straps to keep it open

"This is a great way to protect the inside of my cart but I wish it stayed up. Instead it caves in and I have to open it back up frequently. It needs some straps to hold it open."

Definitely get this with the hamper

"Definitely get this is you plan to put anything damp in the hamper. I bought the hamper to actually be a dirty clothing hamper in the laundry room meaning that messy and damp things might get put into it. The hamper looks so good that I don't want my family getting marks on the nice canvas so I bought this liner. It is well made and fits nicely."

Basket Liner Fail???

"I was so excited to see the Steeletex Basket Liner offered for sale. I ordered one, but I am not sure it will work as planned. The basket liner does not fit snuggly inside my basket. I use my basket to transport firewood through my house to the wood stove. It is difficult to drop the wood into the basket without it getting hung up on the liner. I am considering putting Velcro around the top edge of the liner/basket as a fix! We’ll see how that works!"

I wanted to love it. . .

". . but I am disappointed. The vinyl is so thick it takes up too much room especially because it slumps unless packed full. It does protect the cart from dirt and wet but it could be more form fitting."
