The Hearth Set

One trip from the woodpile, and somewhere to put it when you're back.

Firewood arrives dirty, heavy, and in armfuls. Then it drops bark, ash and whatever was living in it across every floor between the door and the fireplace. This set handles all three parts of that.

The Log Carrier does the hauling — 35 inches of heavy canvas with a full-grain leather bottom and leather hand grips, sized for long splits and built to be dragged across a woodpile.

The Log Frame holds it open at the hearth so it loads and unloads without a second pair of hands. Half-inch U.S. cold-rolled steel, powder coated top to bottom, just under nine pounds with a capacity over four hundred. The carrier lifts straight out when it's time to go back out.

The Canvas Wood Basket is the one that stays. Two bushels of double-thick canvas on a reinforced steel frame, deep enough for kindling and smaller splits, with ten-inch handles so it moves when it has to.

 

For canvas products, carefully spot clean the area with soap and water. If the stain still isn't budging try a diluted bleach solution. For Steeletex (vinyl-coated nylon) spray with Simple Green (or degreaser) and wipe clean. For wooden products, regularly wipe clean with a dry cloth to prevent moisture build up and longevity of life.

Shipping

All of our products are made to order in our Massachusetts facility. Our standard lead time is 5-10 business days for most products. You will receive confirmation via email once your order enters our system and once your order has shipped from our facility. Domestic shipments typically ship via FedEx or UPS Ground and occasionally USPS. International shipment methods vary - please contact us for a quote. Return Policy

We hope this never happens, but in the event you're unhappy with one of our products, we will issue a refund to the card used at purchase (minus the cost of shipping) as long as the product is returned in new condition within 30 days of arriving at your destination. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping fees. If you pay for the "free return coverage" when you place your order, your return shipping fee will be covered.
